Ruczaj is not one of Hamilton May’s primary areas of focus, however, we do offer limited listings of higher standard apartments that are available for rent in the region.
Rental prices are lower than in very centre of the city and generally around or just below the average in Krakow. Lower prices are driven by a relatively high supply of rental property in an area which has recently seen a significant amount of new developments completed.
The area is popular with a variety of tenants, including students from the new university in the area, working professionals and expats. Ruczaj is also now serviced by trams with a relatively short travel time to the city centre, making Ruczaj a commuter belt of sorts, with many residents commuting to other parts of the city for work purposes. The oldest part of Ruczaj consists of residential estates, mainly plattenbau (high rise block flats), while the newer areas consist of recently built residential apartment developments. The area has become a focus for the construction of thousands of new flats in various estates in the first part of the 21st century.
