Building

The Tenement House of the Discalced Carmelites is a two-story building, built in the years 1770-1771, according to the design of Efraim Szreger. In 1884 (according to some sources - after the January Uprising), a system of 3-story outbuildings was added to the building, creating two internal courtyards on the plot. The entire complex has been preserved to this day in its authentic state , and was not significantly damaged during World War II. In 1998, the main building, together with the outbuildings, courtyards and permanent buildings located within the plot, was entered into the register of monuments.
