During World War II, the villa on Iwicka Street was of particular importance as the seat of important events related to the Polish underground. One of the Home Army (AK) cells operated in its interior. The house was also a place where weapons were hidden and secret meetings of conspirators took place. At one time, there was also a radio broadcasting station there.

The villa has retained its historical character and is considered a place of great historical value. It is one of the few buildings in Warsaw that survived the war and still exists in almost its original form. The building is currently under conservation protection. This building, thanks to its architecture and rich history, is an important part of the heritage of Lower Mokotów, as well as the entire Warsaw.
